What Can Sculptra® Treat?
Sculptra® Aesthetic provides subtle, natural, and long-lasting results. This treatment is most frequently used to correct deep nasolabial folds, which are also known as smile lines. However, Sculptra® can also be used on other facial wrinkles that can benefit from the cross-hatch injection technique. Is Sculptra better than fillers?
Although Sculptra and Hyaluronic Acid (HA) fillers are both used to restore loss of volume, their mechanics of function are quite different. Sculptra is made of particles known as Poly – L - Acid (PLLA) that help to regenerate and stimulate collagen. HA fillers metabolize through the body over a period of 6-12 months, while the stimulating effects of the PLLA molecules of Sculptra create longer lasting results.
What should I avoid after Sculptra treatment?
After Sculptra, you will want to avoid alcohol, extreme heat, direct sun exposure, and blood thinning medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen.
When will I see the results of Sculptra?
Patients state seeing results of their treatment as early as one month, but in most cases Sculptra will take about three to four months for maximum benefits. As the skin slowly builds up collagen and elastin, you’ll see more noticeable results. Patient results will vary.

How many Sculptra treatments do I need?
Each plan is customizable to fit your needs. In most cases we recommend a vial of Sculptra per decade of life to get started. For example, if you are age 40, we typically would suggest 4 vials of Sculptra to optimize your results.
