How is a Buccal Fat Removal performed?
Buccal fat removal at Zuliani Facial Aesthetics is a quick and effective office-based procedure that usually takes 30-60 minutes to complete. Dr. Zuliani will start by administering a local anesthesia and will then make small incisions on the inside of the cheeks and safely remove all or part of the fat pads. Dissolvable sutures are then utilized to close the incisions.
Dr. Zuliani frequently performs buccal fat removal as a standalone procedure, although it can be an excellent companion to other facial procedures, such as a facelift or nose reshaping (rhinoplasty) to enhance the overall outcome.
What can be expected after Buccal Fat Removal?
