How is a Halo™ treatment performed?
Your Halo™ treatment will be performed in-office at Zuliani Facial Aesthetics in Bloomfield Hills. A topical anesthetic may be used in some cases; however, no sedation is required for this laser procedure.
During your Halo™ treatment, Dr. Zuliani will administer the precise depth of laser energy using the Halo™ handpiece, rolling it over the skin in a criss-cross pattern. Most patients feel minimal to no discomfort.
What can be expected after a Halo™ treatment?
Recovery following Halo™ is relatively minimal, but will depend on the depth of your specific treatment. You should feel well enough to resume normal activities as soon as your Halo™ treatment is complete. Some minor peeling may occur after the first 24 hours, and you will be given instructions on keeping your skin protected as it fully heals.
You should begin to notice the initial results of your treatment at about 2-5 days. However, your skin will continue to improve, with the most significant results at about 2-3 weeks. Your skin should appear brighter, healthier, and refreshed in a subtle, yet noticeable way that will have everyone asking, “How do you keep your skin looking so good?”
