How is a ProFractional™ Laser treatment performed?
ProFractional™ laser treatments at Zuliani Facial Aesthetics are performed in our Bloomfield Hills office. After choosing an area to target, a numbing cream will be applied to ensure comfort throughout the session, and protective safety shields will be placed over your eyes. The laser handpiece is then positioned over the skin as the computer-guided scanner emits the ideal beam pattern for swift and consistent results
As treatment begins, you will hear a string of snapping sounds each time the laser is activated. Your skin may start to feel hot, similar to a sunburn, but most patients do not report much discomfort. Treatments typically last 15 to 30 minutes.
What can be expected after a ProFractional™ Laser treatment?
After your treatment, you may experience some redness, swelling, and pinpoint bleeding. Your skin will be sensitive to ultra-violet light, so it’s important to avoid sun exposure until you’ve healed completely. Most patients are able to apply makeup and return to normal activities 1-2 days following treatment.
After one week, treated areas will appear brighter and rejuvenated, and you will notice smoother, firmer, and tighter skin over the next several weeks. Results are long-lasting, and most patients experience even further improvements over the course of multiple treatments.
