Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is the second generation of platelet-rich plasma (PRP). The injections are used to rejuvenate skin and are made from your own blood and a protein matrix called fibrin. How does EZ Gel PRF Work?
The PRF procedure begins with our nurses drawing blood. The blood is spun in a centrifuge so that we can gather the platelet-rich fibrins.
Once we have them, they are injected back into the body in the treatment areas. To ensure comfort, a topical numbing agent may be used before the injections.
